My favorite invention during my life time is the wireless internet because it makes it easy to access the internet in a wide variety of places. You don't have to be at your house to be able to work on the computer.

Squirtles Commercial
Sandy: Hey Pam!
Pam: Hi, ummm do I know you?
Sandy: Well yeah, it’s me, Sandy.
Pam: WOWW!! You look AMAZING!! Sorry, I didn’t even recognize you. What have you been doing?
Sandy: Eating Candy
Pam: Candy?????
Sandy: Yes, Squirtles, Haven’t you tried them yet??
Pam: No, what are they??
Sandy: Well. Squirtles are these new candies that are designed to make you look younger.
Pam: Wait how is that possible?
Sandy: There are 7 different colors that each trigger a certain aspect of youth. Like the red, for instance, just got rid of all those unwanted wrinkles I had.
Pam: Wow!! I need those; where on earth did you find these ingenious candies?
Sandy: Well they are all over now. I found these at target, but I’m pretty sure you can get them at wal-mart too.
Pam: Were they expensive?
Sandy: No, not at all. One box cost $1.50 or you could just get a large container with 10 boxes in each for $11.95.
Pam: Awesome, now I definitely have to go get some!
Sandy: Whoa, it looks like I’m already out.
Pam: RACE YOU THERE!!!!

Public Service Announcement

This week is national women’s week! Women all across America should take advantage of this day to learn about women just like them who sacrificed much to change the way society looks at women. Brave women over the years have stood up against the social norms to do what they thought was right. These women have set a great example for all young girls and women. Women in the past had to work very hard to earn the rights that women have today. Two important women in history that exceeded the expectations of women at the time are Sally Ride and Mae Jemison. Sally ride was the youngest person at the time to go to outer space. She was also the first American woman to do so. She served as a role model for Mae Jemison. Jemison was the first African American woman to go to outer space. Being African American, she had to face much racial discrimination on her journey to become a success. Being a woman made it even harder. She stuck with her goal and did not give up even through the hardships she faced, even after she was once turned down by NASA. Their efforts, along with many other women, have made life much easier for women today, and we should take this week to recognize and honor them.
