The most important invention of my life time is the iPhone. The iPhone is the most advanced form of technology on the market. It has hand held internet capability, and is also completely controlled by the touch of a finger. The iPhone is the best invention so far, hopefully there will be many more great inventions in the future.

Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.By the age of 20 she had taken her first flight lesson, and six months later she had saved enough money to buy her very fist airplane. She was awarded a gold medal by the National Geographic Society. There were more windows and opportunities opened to women because of Amelia, but also because another influential woman named Ruth Nichols.Ruth has received more than 35 women’s aviation awards and records throughout her lifetime, she is known as the first women to fly a commercial passenger airplane.
It is because of women like Amelia, Ruth, and many others that we have the opportunities and rights that we do today. This week we acknowledge these women and their hard work and determination that they have put into their lives to make this world a better place for us.
