Woman's History Month Woman's history month is a month we put aside to honor all of the women who have had the courage to take control and do the job that a man normally does. Men use to be the ones who were always taking charge and doing all the tough things, but some women wanted to work hard at achieving their dream without a man getting in the way. Within the last century there have been several women who have wanted to play a sport that in today's world is dominated by men called, "Football." Whenever a woman decides to do such an event like this it puts a lot of stress and pressure on the woman. Ashley Martin made history whenever she was the first girl to be on a football team, play, and score in a game in the Division II League. Shortly after Martin only two years later Katie Hnida played for Division I-A scoring two points to win the game.
